We come together about once a quarter to pack, weigh, vacuum seal and box many many packets of food. We usually come together on a Saturday morning and work until around 1 PM. Within this short time, we usually pack around 30 boxes of food. This equates to about 1200 packets of food – enough to feed 7200 people!
This food gets distributed to the needy wherever we find them – in our neighborhoods, schools and at our local shops.

Each packet contains the following:
- Rice
- Soy
- Soup mix
- Protein powder
Each packet, once prepared over the stove, can feed a family of six. It takes about 20-30 minutes to prepare.

How can you get involved?
- You can come help pack on a Saturday morning.
- You can donate some of the ingredients mentioned above.
- Make a financial donation to the church, placing “Feed-a-friend” as the reference.
